Special Delivery forms we prepare are as follows:
Troches:
These are small square lozenges that are ideal for NHRT. The hormones are absorbed straight into the blood stream through the mucous membranes in the cheek, bypassing any denaturing effect stomach acids may have.
Capsules:
These may be used for most hormones as the hormones we use are micronised, allowing the hormones to pass directly into the lymph system.

• Slow Release Formulations are also prepared in capsule form and these are ideal for alleviating children's mid-day doses at school

Creams:
Are another popular option and our special base has absorption enhancing capabilities
Pessaries:
Formulation commonly used for vaginal insertion which can be prepared to administer larger doses of Progesterone eg to maintain pregnancy.
Suppositories:
Formulation commonly used for rectal insertion in children, sick and elderly patients
PLO Gels:
Specially prepared to deliver pain relievers directly to an affected site.  Different ingredients may be added to affect the transmission of pain in different ways eg.

• Clondine Amitryptyline: Adrenalin Receptors

• Retamine: Affects NMDA Receptors

• Retoprofen: Anti-Inflammatory

• Capscan: Counter Irritant
